Since 1993, Grit Lemke works as a journalist for print, online and TV. In 1991, she started working for DOK Leipzig and took over the position of the program director from 2010 to 2017. Until 2003, she was involved in the programming of Sheffield International Documentary Festival. Grit Lemke curated several Film Sequences. She now works as a free writer and curator in Berlin.
Hana Kulhánková has been a director of different film festivals. Since 2005, she has been working for the Czech humanitarian Organization People in Need. There she was Director for the biggest human rights documentary film festivals in the world, One World Prague (2000-2017). Since 2010 Hana Kulhánková is a member of the Slovakian Czech Women-Foundation and works on gender equality and the Queer Eye Festival.
Thomas Schadt is a well know German Documentary maker and works as director, producer, photographer and writer. Additionally he was teaching on different film universities since 1991. He is the director of the film university Baden-Württemberg and a member of the European Film Academy and German Film Academy and the Academy of Arts.
Valentin Thurn is a filmmaker for ARD, ZDF, ARTE and other television channels. He studied journalism and is writer of over 50 TV-documentaries to social, development, environmental and educational topics. One of his most famous films ‚Taste the Waste’ premiered at Berlinale 2011 and won several prices.
